Article Summary

Whitelisting customers allows them to purchase certain collections before the general public. In order for this to happen, the collection's listing needs to be configured with the "ALLOW PREVIEW PURCHASE for white listed customers" setting enabled. For a detailed guide of how to do that, click here. Setting whether or not a customer is whitelisted is done on their customer detail page and applies to all collections on your account. Support for collection-specific whitelists is on our roadmap and coming soon.

First, click "View All Customers" in the side nav.

This will show you a grid containing all of the customers in your system. To find a specific customer, you will need to search for them. Alternatively, you can sort the grid by first name, last name, display name, email, and date registered to help you track them down.

Once you have found the user you are looking for, click on their first name, last name, or the edit button all the way to the right to navigate to their customer detail page. If the customer did not enter a first name or last name during signup, they may display as (Blank), but that text will still be linked to their detail page.

Click the "Add to Whitelist" toggle and "Save Changes"

In the "Contact Information" section underneath profile details, click the toggle labeled "Add to Whitelist", which should cause the little circle to move to the right and cause the toggle to turn green. After activating the toggle, click save changes. If you do not click save changes, the customer will not be added to the whitelist.

You're all done! Remember, this whitelist applies to all collections on your account, if you do not want this user to be on the whitelist for future collections, you'll have to come back and deactivate the toggle after this collection launches.
