Setting a custom domain name

Introduction

Setting your own custom domain for your NFT webste/marketplace is easy and only takes a couple steps. Keep in mind that once you complete these steps, it can take up to 24 hours for the custom domain to be working.

Step 1

1. Login to your CURIOS ADMIN ACCOUNT and navigate to SETTINGS → Domain Manager
2. In the top right corner of the screen, click "Add new domain"
3. Fill in all the form fields
   1. Domain Name → The custom domain name you will configure in step #2
   2. From Name → Your marketplace or business name that you want emails to be sent from
   3. From Email → The email address that you want emails to be sent from (this requires additional setup of Setting a custom from email address)

Step 2

1. Login to your domain registrar (e.g. Godaddy.com)
2. Open the configuration/management screen in your domain registrar for the domain you want to use
3. Find the area in your domain registrar for editing/configuring DNS settings for your domain
4. Delete any "A" or "CNAME" records that might already exist for your domain
5. Add a new "CNAME" for your domain, set the value of the CNAME record to "app.curios.com"
6. Turn off any parking and redirects that might exist for your domain
7. Wait up to 24 hours for your domain to take affect
